about Possi.be!
Beyond the New Normal
date: 2026 Feb 22
In 2019, my ambition for possi.be was to prove that technology could enable anyone to work from home. While the global shift toward remote work is now a standard reality, the tools required for true independence remain incomplete for many.
My focus has evolved from simply changing where we work to perfecting how we function through technical integration. By merging Universal Access with Healthcare AI, Clinical Automation, and FHIR data standards, I am building an environment where physical or cognitive barriers no longer dictate a person’s potential. Remote work is now normal; my mission is to make it powerful and accessible for everyone.
Aspiration:

I have always wondered if it is possible for everyone to work from home. About four years ago, my mother broke her leg. She was in her seventies and had been eager to work all her life. The break itself was not as much of a problem as the fact that it confined her to a hospital bed. This confinement caused her health to deteriorate until the day she passed away six months later.
During that time, I read many books and planned various projects in preparation for her return home. I researched the types of cars, housing modifications, and utilities needed to soothe her condition and help her stay active. This project, possi.be, is an extension of those efforts.
How can a person with a limited physical condition do what they need to do with as little help as possible from others?
My ideology is to do whatever makes the world a better place. I am always open to that. Does it relate? Yes, enabling people to perform their daily activities independently raises their self-esteem, self-acceptance, and morale. At the same time, it makes the people around them more productive.
There are many ways to approach this ideology. As we move forward on this journey together, I will provide some solutions, and I invite you to suggest your own. Consider this my invitation to join me.
The Story of the Logo:
date: 2019 July 3
I have always loved ivy—poison ivy in particular. It is beautiful, tempting, and fits almost any style of decoration. However, if you look past its beauty, there is little else to it; it lacks the substance of true care.
When I began thinking about the concept of “caring”, I looked for a more inspiring symbol. I found it in my own garden: the Ivy Gourd.

The leaves of the ivy gourd naturally resemble heart shapes. To me, this represents the heart and the act of caring coming together. I wanted to simplify this image into a symbol that serves as a constant reminder of my mission.
The logo you see is a geometric simplification of that leaf. At its center is the character 不 (No/Not), taken from the phrase 夢想不可能 (The dream is impossible). By placing it there, I am defining the core ideal of possi.be: to negate the “impossible” and ensure that for those in need, everything becomes possible.

The Mission Statement
date: 2019 July 2 / rewrite 2025 Feb 22
Do you have a relentless ambition to see the impossible become reality? I do. My mission is to empower those in need of technology to become “whole”—to enhance performance, clarify thinking, and transform the impossible into the possible.
Possi.be (Possible + You) is the vehicle for this transformation. I believe that to improve human potential, we must first refine the environment. By designing better digital and physical landscapes for seniors, the disabled, and those with temporary impairments, we directly elevate the quality of life for everyone.
This journey is no longer “unknown.” Today, I pursue this mission through the precise application of Universal Access, Healthcare AI, Clinical Automation, and Health Data Standards (FHIR/EHR). Let’s see how much further we can go.
